Berks Benefitting THON

Purpose: Berks Benefitting THON contributes to a year-long effort that raises funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. Throughout the year, we hold many fundraisers and events, such as our annual 5K, Vera Bradley and Sports Bingo, Inspire the Night Benefit Dinner, Polar Plunge, and so many more, which all culminate into a 46-hour dance marathon in February. Come out to one of our meetings to learn more about this exciting organization and how to join the fight against pediatric cancer!

Berks N’ Beats

Purpose: Berks n’ Beats serves to give students at Penn State Berks a chance to learn and teach various dance styles. Students can express themselves and learn from their peers as well as showcase what they have learned through performing for an audience.

Purpose: Penn State Berks Blue and White Society is a student-run chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, which has hundreds of thousands of members across the world. Our goal and purpose as a club and organization is to hold and sponsor school spirited driven events throughout the fall and spring semester at the Berks campus. That spirit is what drives each member of our club to excel not only in their classes and on campus in general, but hopefully as well for the future in everything they do as a proud Penn Stater!

Campus Activities Board

Purpose: The Campus Activities Board, more commonly known as CAB, is a club on campus that organizes interactive activities that occur on and around campus. Some of these events include Crazy Bob Giveaways, magicians, comedians, bingo and many more! CAB has weekly meetings every Monday at 12 pm in Room 3 in the Perkins Student Center!

Cheerleading

Purpose: Cheerleading Club is meant to promote school spirit throughout Berks campus and beyond. The cheer team cheers on the Men’s Basketball team at home games and competes at cheerleading competitions.

Chinese Culture Club

Penn State Berks Bowling Club

Purpose: The PSU Berks Bowling Club teaches students the fundamentals of bowling, honing the skills of bowlers from beginner levels to those of advanced competitors. In the mean time, we perform community service and offer glow bowling events to all PSU students, free of charge.

Purpose: The Penn State Berks Step Team is a group of individuals who use their bodies as their instruments. Deriving from African step dancing, the combination of stomps, claps, and other movements create elaborate sounds and rhythms. Done with or without music, the speed and depth of the steps produce their own tune.

Purpose:  Yoga and Meditation Society (YAMS) provides a fun and inclusive way to become both active and relaxed at the same time. We offer guided meditation sessions twice a week, and a professionally taught Yoga class once a week.
